The surrealist painter Max Ernst liked to speak about psychic revolution and transformation, about seeing both the outside world and looking with the inner eye simultaneously. Ernst had an alter ego he called Loplop, who looked like a man with a bird's head. He would appear in Ernst's paintings and collage novels as the lead role or as the narrator. I have re-imagined Loplop, armed for psychic revolution.
